Blue Ridge Longhorns are winners!
The Champion Texas Longhorn Female, Cold Springs Sena Field, was exhibited by Blue Ridge Longhorns of Blue Ridge Summit, Adams County, at the Open Beef Show on Friday, Jan. 8, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg.
The Champion Texas Longhorn Bull, Blue Ridge War Bonnet, was exhibited by Blue Ridge Longhorns of Blue Ridge Summit, Adams County, at the Open Beef Show on Friday, Jan. 8, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. Member of International Texas Longhorn Association (ITLA). Blue Ridge Longhorns was awarded ITLA Region 2 Breeder of Year for 6th Consecutive Year in 2009!
Blue Ridge Painted Lady (2-year-old Senior Heifer) at WV State Fair, August 2009. Champion Senior Heifer, was All Age Champion or Reserve Champion Female at numerous shows in 2009, and was recently awarded ITLA Honor Roll High Point Senior Heifer in 2009. Watch for her and her Blue Ridge War Bonnet Heifer Calf at the upcoming Pennsylvania Farm Show! Bred and raised at Blue Ridge Longhorns: JR Semon x Blue Ridge Third Watch (ITLA Elite Cow).
Cold Springs Sena Field (4-year-old Cow) at West Virginia State Fair, August 2009. Grand Champion Juniorr Cow. Has been many times All Age Champion at such shows as Great Frederick Fair, Keystone International Livestock Expo (3 times), Pennsylvania Farm Show, along with 2006 Grand Champion Senior Heifer at the ITLA Championship Show. Sena Field Gained her ITLA Elite Title in 2009 and was awarded ITLA Honor Roll High Point Junior Cow! Her breeding is Shadow Pomp x Homefield Advantage (both sire and dam are former All Age show champions).
Blue Ridge Shadow Horn (3-year-old Bull) at West Virginia State Fair, August 2009. Reserve All Age Champion Bull, earned his ITLA Elite Title. Shadow Horn was also was ITLA Honor Roll High Point Senior Bull in 2008. So, after many times standing Grand Champion Bull, he is now retired to roam with his cow herd.
